Our earthenware clay body is looking & feeling very nice at ^1, but we
are finding that there is not a lot of glazes in that range. Can anyone
point me to some recipes. We are not using any lead, barium or other
toxic materials & are using colemanite & borax as the base of our
glazes. How would would one get a semi-gloss black? & we are working
with runny ash glazes but most recipes call for a much hotter cook, is
there anyway to bring the temp down.
