Hi! I'm looking for a stable Black cone 6 oxidation glaze. Preferably a
glossy glaze. Its going to be used in a classroom setting so as reliable
as possible.

If Chris Schafele is still on the list, would you please reprint the
formula for your ^6 black Oxidation glaze. Have only a tiny bit left
and need to mix more.

Actually, the glaze was created by Ron Roy -- I just did the initial
testing. Here it is again. Actually, there are two versions, one with
F4 or Minspar, and one with G200 or Custer. Both work fine.
Some have found that they are blacker with a little more cobalt (up
to 2%). As I recall, one or both of them were tested at Alfred and
found to be very stable.
