hello, i have just recently begun working in clay and need help finding some
formulas for low fire clay bodies. if anyone can suggest some 04 glazes that
are non-toxic after firing and in colors other than clear or blue it would be
greatly appreciated.

Here's an 04 Base and additions that may help.
Ferro 3124 40%
Gerstley Borate 30%
Neph Sy 25%
Flint 5%
+ Zircopax 8%
Additions:
White no additions
Yellow 3% Red Iron Oxide
Turquoise 2% Copper Carbonate
Sky Blue 1% Colbalt Carbonate
Purpleish Brown 2% Magnesium Dioxide
Green 2% Chrome Oxide
Salmon Pink 4% Mason 6006 Deep Crimson Stain

Tomorrow I will mix a group of 04 test glazes and try out on the terra
cotta. Any favorites you wish to share I would love to give them a
try. Especially like greens and blues.
