I also bought I three phase at auction thinking that it would not
present a problem. Came to discover differently but none of the problems
are impossible. I called my local electric company and they had several
suggestions and the person I spoke with was even willing to come out and
take a look at it. Also, for my Amaco kiln a conversition kit is sold (for
about $150.00-not bad considering this kiln runs a couple thousand new) and
it will allow me to operate on single phase 240v. So there are options out
there. Good Luck!
