he is prepared to import it from the states.
could you please help me, as my friend has some large orders to fill.

Dear Jorge,

I don't know why a 60 ton press is needed. However, I took Cajun Press's
idea and made my own. I went to Tools Unlimited (mail order) and bought a
12 ton automotive press and bought the steel needed to make the top and
bottom beds and had a friend with a forge weld the ring on the top bed to
fasten it in place and weld on the channels to hold masonite bats to the
top bed also. Any place that works with metal could do it. I got the
press for $300 and paid $100 for the steel and my friend charged me $40 for
the work.

If you're looking for used equipment, it's a good idea to check the website
of Pacific Ceramic Machinery in Stockton, California:
http://www.pacceram.com/index.htm

As of November 21, there are several used hydraulic presses listed, ranging
from 8 tons to 300 tons. Might be worth checking out...
