I quickly threw this together for my local Atlanta personals section. It's
one of a series of poems I've been running. (...a long story.) Thought the
group might enjoy it.
Read it quickly, then slow for the lines with word separations. Read them
sloowwlly.
Do it a couple of times and you'll get the idea.
Immerse your fingers in my hands
of supple spinning, water streaming,
oozing cool.....throwing friction.....warming mound,
pound, squeeze, trickle, press,
kneading, needing, pulls, invest
your soul.....in grains.....of chance,
entranced, shaped, melded, slaked
your thirst, baked, building ache,
awake, aware, arising pair
of bodies.....formed and.....hand.....MADE.
Release mold..........hollow ware.
Earthen care.
