I'm looking into an airbrush for glaze/stain applications. Any
recommendations?

I've been using our Wagner sprayer. No air compressor and no problems - so
far!! It's the most expensive model that sprays stains and varnishes as well
as latex and oil based paints.

I've been using a Paauche H series airbrush for 20+ years. It has no bells
and whistles. It's single action, meaning it's on or off, no line
variation by trigger. The tip is large enough to allow for underglazes and
oxides and is very easy to clean. I'm sure there are other brushes of
equal value but I've chosen to stay with this one. Cost is always a
concern, but this model runs less than $75.(usually).

I am currently trying out a airbrush called the "CRITTER" It is essentially
an atomizer, since it is an external mix. It is great for glazes. The best
part is that the container is a Ball Jar which is easily interchangeable. It
is about 55.00.
