Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share with you how wonderful the Ancient Clay workshop was.
It was at Michael McDowell's place in Bellingham, WA. It took place in a
beautiful barn. We had bonfires nightly where Vince sang and played his
guitar incredibly!! I'll never forget his Ghost Train song. I'm still
humming it!!
We all made beautiful things. We handbuilt pots, masks, rattles, whistles,
fertility figures!! Having never done any handbuilding, it really expanded
what I could do with clay. Vince is an incredible teacher.
I had a great experience. For those of you who missed out this year, I heard
they're doing it again next year!
