Yo ho! Any Clayarters who use AoL-
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem I am? When I download my
Clayart digests, they usually come across as a Simple text document which I
then read with Word. However, I am also receiving digests that will only
download as "documents." They refuse to be opened by any program I have
(quite a few). I've also tried re-downloading, importing the document to
other programs, placing, converting to a graphic, in short - everything I can
think of to be able to read my daily mail. Nothing works.
I haven't bothered with the AoL tech staff (an oxymoron, I know) because in
the past, they have sent form e-mails giving me really intricate and
technical advice such as, "Click on the 'Download Now' button." Duh.
Any advice? Yeah, yeah, "switch carriers." TIA, Diane (in Tucson, where the
temp is over 100 and the humidity is up-up-up! Not good when you have to
work outside in the chicken coop!)
