Here is an analysis of the Australian Spodumene:
Li2O 7.43
MnO 0.03
SiO2 64.66
K2O 0.25
CaO 0.03
Fe2O3 0.07
Al2O3 26.62
Na2O3 0.12
P2O5 0.29
TiO2 <0.01
It is very pure, with very little iron. I have done fusion buttons and at
cone 10 there is no melt, only expansion. It is closer to the old Foote
Mineral Chemical Grade product than anything else on the market
