black salt clay body

I have been working on a black salt clay body, that has 1.5% cobalt,
and 1.5% mang. I have test fired small squares, and sometimes the
cobalt seems to run out on the shelves. I would like to test fire a
larger amount but I am concerned that the cobalt will volitilaze and
cause a bluish hue over all over pieces in the kiln. Has anyone out
there done salt fire with a black clay body, firing it in the same kiln
load as white/ brown bodies? Would it be best to fire it separate, I'd
rather not because of cost of fuel, but do not want to containate other
colors.

Thanks for any information, Ann
