One of my all time favorite events is the Blues Festival in Eureka Springs,
Arkansas. For those of you who haven't had the chance to visit Eureka
Springs, it is a place you will want to make a mental note of. It is an old
victorian town in the Ozarks. It is full of "artsy fartsy" people, many
skilled crafters. The streets are full of shop after shop of all kinds of
art, ceramics, woodworking, painting, etc.

And the Blues Festival is held each year in June. There are hundreds of beds
and breakfasts, plenty of camping sites. The blues musicians play throught
the town in bars and historic hotels. It's a great time! Everyone I've ever
taken has always made plans to return each year....many from out of state.
I've seen John Mayall, Koko Taylor, Charlie Musselwhite, Coco Montoya, Rory
Block, and many, many more. And I've bought lots of pottery!

those of you who want to stay in Eureka should note that I have just
listed twenty plus acres for sale about five miles from town. The
Incredible Noborigama still resides there.
