Anne,
This is quite a pleasant sort of mid brown glaze for ^6 oxidation
Alberta Slip 75
Gerstley Borate 25
Potash Feldspar 10
Tin ox 4
EPK 10
I also have a dark brown gloss recipe for ^6 but have not yet tested it
Flint 19
Potash 35
Whiting 15
Red Iron Ox 11
Ball Clay 10
Volcanic Ash 10
add 2% Bentonite and 2%Titanium
How nice to be able to share something from my books, I have been so
pleased with some of the recipes that I have tested from other clayart
subscribers. I only wish that I could give proper credit to the
originators of these but I am afraid I was amiss in recording such info.

Hi Anne in Beeton,
I have recently been using a nice matt brown in cone 6 oxidation that
looks nice on its own and over many other glazes. It is:
whiting 20
custar felds 56
EPK 18
flint 6
zinc oxide 9
rutile 7
total 116
red iron oxide 2% of 116
nickel oxide 3% of 116
Enjoy!
