I am looking for instructions to assemble an electric wheel
for my kids. I have a very nice kick wheel for myself but
is not sutable for them. I looked into purchasing a wheel
but the costs are not in my budget. Any assistance would be
appriciated.

Thanks!!!

A few years ago i "built" my own wheel. I ordered most of the parts from
Brent. I built my own table to mount it on and saved $300. Total cost to
build, about $400. Plus it was really easy to do. If you would like specific
instructions for mounting the motor, ect., e-mail me and i will be more than
happy to share my info with you. Good Luck!

You can buy a Brent B wheel for around $550 including shipping half way
across the United States from Kickwheel pottery in Atlanta and Bennett
ceramics in Florida. Both advertise extensively. Be sure to price the wheel
including shipping to your destination. About a year ago Kickwheel was
shipping via UPS which was considerably cheaper than common carrier so I
bought from Kickwheel. Bonnie in gray, wet "Franned" Pittsburgh

David:

Concerning the plans for the potter's wheel- Try and find a book by
Charles Counts titled "Pottery Workshop".

I built by wheel from the plans in this book and really do like it. Of
course I customized the wheel to fit my body size but other than that I
followed the plans.

Good Luck!!
