I don't know how I would survive without my bumper jack extruder which a
friend welded for me several years ago from plans in the previously
mentioned 1976 CM. I have an oval shape that I use to start with for
handles for mugs etc, which I then proceed to pull so that they look fresh.
That also gives me a thickened end for attachment. I have several dyes for
casserole handles etc that have a nice look of mouldings ( lots of ridges).
I think the coils and handles are strong too because of the compression.
To offset the problem of using it in the horizontal position, I have it
firmly clamped into a Black and Decker " Workmate" bench and it
gives me a place to brace my foot against for an easy pull. It is
relatively easy to clean as well.

I saw your post on the bumper jack extruder. Can you please tell me
