One more though regarding "blacklisting." In this country we have a
tradition of free press which, when accurate, funcitons to help protect
and inform the public. My understanding of blacklisting was that certain
people suspected of having unpopular views (ie communists in the '50's)
were barred from opportunities. Blacklisting denies individuals freedom
where as accurate reporting supports freedom.
