Asking advice from Clayarters is like having a dozen travel agents working
for you - only better as it is free. A potting friend of mine will be in
the Cape Cod area the last week of April and would appreciate suggestions of
potters and exhibits to visit.

A must see on the Cape is Scargo Stoneware Pottery off Route 6A in Dennis,
Mass. Potter Harry Holl with friends and family operate a terrific studio
gallery. I also recommend Kemp Pottery. Steve Kemp's place is on Route 6A
in Orleans, Mass. The Cape is teeming with independent potters of every
possible stripe, so your friend could go nuts trying to cover too much
territory. Alas April is a terrible month to visit here. We seldom
experience Spring because we are enveloped in frigid waters. I hope your
friend gets lucky with the weather. Ken.

Hi, Ilene. Come on by. I'm open most days. We live here, so even if the
gallery door is closed, knocking at the back door or coming into the
studio will rouse me. And we've got several other potters you can go
visit, too. Ron Geering does beautiful slipware, Tessa Morgan is a
great artist with her sgraffito, Ann Newbury, Annie Halpin, several
others.
