A few days ago Jan posted a list of Ceramic Magazines.
I missed the original request, so I do not know who asked for the list. I
like to correct the section on the Netherlands. Two magazines are listed,
one of those (COSA) stopped appearing a few years ago, for the other the
address listed is that of a former chief editor, who moved from that
address about five years ago. Keramiek still appears. Two other magazines
were missing from Jan's list.

Here is a total replacement for the section on the Netherlands :

NETHERLANDS

Keramiek
Poeldijk 8

Klei (up to last month called "Klei & Hobby")
Marterlaan 13

Stook

---------- warning : boring additional information ahead ------------

All three magazines are published in the Dutch language, and subscriptions
are automatically continued unless explicitely cancelled a few months
before the start of a new calendar year. This is the standard Dutch
subscription system.

"Keramiek" ("ceramics") is published by the Dutch Potter's Association (NVK
- Nederlandse Vakgroep Keramisten). It is in its 22nd year, and appears 6
times per year. The subscription rate for the Netherlands is 62.50
guilders. The rate for all other countries is 80 guilders per year, about
US$ 50 at today's rate. From within Europe it is best to pay by
Eurocheques, which are guaranteed and cost no money to cash. From outside
Europe Postal Money orders seem best, as credit cards are not accepted, and
personal checks are very expensive to cash.

"Klei" ("clay") is a commercial magazine. It is in its 15th year, and
appears 6 times per year. The subscription rate for the Netherlands is
32.50 guilders, for Belgium 610 Franks. This magazine allows no
subscriptions in other countries.

"Stook" ("stoke") is a commercial magazine. Number zero just appeared, the
first issue has yet to appear. The plan is that the magazine will appear 6
times per year. The subscription rate for the Netherlands is 55 guilders,
for Belgium 1000 Franks. This magazine allows no subscriptions in other
countries.
