I recently purchased a "used Brent A" wheel and was wondering if there was
anyone that would know if it is possible to rewire it for lefthanded
throwing. Seattle pottery told me they would put in a switch for 35 bucks,
but I should think there is an easier way. Is there anyone that knows if it
is possible to do it myself without a switch?
Thanks,
Mike

You can reverse the direction of the wheel by taking the two wires that go to
the motor and reversing them on the circuit board. A switch is only needed
if you have lefty's and righties using the wheel.

You can reverse your brent wheel by interchanging the two motor leads
on the rectifier in the control box. Do not change the A.C power
leads.... only the D.C motor leads. Most people though left handed still
throw on the right hand side. Leftys usually find they have more control
because the stronger hand is the one that has to work from the inside and
can't be seen.

Mike:
You might want to contact Prof. Hugo Fiora PO Box 93 Willow Street, PA
17584. Phone 717 464 3938. He will be able to help you out. I think it is
a simple change to reverse the wheel direction. All you have to do is to
change the polorarity on the DC input to the DC mortor. Better check it out
with him first. Good luck.
