Has anyone done the Cherry Creek Art Fair in Colorado? I am thinking of
applying but there is a $25 Jury fee, they receive over 2000
applications, accept about l35 artists and charge $350 for a booth
space!! I am wondering if its worth the cost. The brochure states that
they get about 300,000 customers over the July 4th, 3 day weekend.
If anyone can fill me in with their own experience, please let me know.
Thanks,
Ilene Greene

Ilene,

Yes it is a good show. I've done it for two years now. My feeling is
that the Jury fee is pretty standard, and that the booth fee is rather
modest considering the amount of promotion and amenities that are done
for the show. Whether it is worth the cost is really based upon your
expectations and sales. It has certainly been worth it to me, even
though it has meant a 3800 mile round trip drive and two weeks out of my
summer. Shows that attract quality exhibitors and crowds are very rare.

Good luck!
