Hello clayarters,
A few days ago, someone asked for galleries to visit in Chicago. The
Chicago Reader is online and is a pretty good source for finding out
what is happening at which gallery. They usually list by the week, so
its updated often. The address is:
www.chireader.com
follow the link under "The Readers Guide to Arts & Entertainment" and
you will find lots.

I will be in Chicago May 5-9 and would be interested in any pottery
exhibits to see at that time. My main interest is in Raku but any
sights would be appreciated.
Thanks

If you are looking for a small but excellent gallery that has pottery as
well as other lovely arts, go to the Gathering Artists Gallery at 2900 N
Broadway. The owner, Steve Anderson, is a delightful fellow.

Gary - For high end (expensive but excellent) clay, go to Martha
Schneider Gallery at Superior & Franklin St in chicago. Also
Perimeter Gallery around the corner on Superior. Eat at Tucci
Milan on Hubbard(?) or Cafe BaBaReeBa on Halstead. One of the
best buys in town in at the Berghoff in the Loop on Adams - e
everyone waits in line at ruch hours but it moves fast. great
Beer. ENJOY! Karen Gringhuis
