First, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jeannette Strouth
and I have subscribed to the group for my brother, who is a potter in
East Tennessee.
Knowing the toxicity of chrome oxide in the raw state, does anyone
have any information on the safety of using chrome oxide in glazes that
will come in contact with food or drink, ie leaching? It was recently
mentioned to him that it was a problem, and that when exposed to acidic
foods, leaching can occur. Thanks for any info you can pass on.
