Hi Clayart folks!

I'm back from my long vacation in Norway and got back to work in my
studio this morning.
Question: We decided to start firing in the 5-7 range and bought a clay
called Cinco Blanco from Armadillo Clay in Texas. Throwing straight
from the bag was fine and dandy, but when we went to rewedge the clay it
constantly separated, was impossible to get the air out of and was darn
"short". Anybody else worked with this stuff?? We used Dillo from the
same company and have had varying batches of it. Just wondering.

Anne and John Worner, where we have a hot 90'ish here north of Houston,
Tx. ;-)

John & Anne, I sell Cinco Blanco and Dillo White at my store here in
Alpine, Tx. I personally use the Dillo White for throwing and my business
partner uses the Cinco Blanco for hand building. She always says that it
is not good to throw with, but is excellent for handbuilding. I hope that
this helps, Jennifer in Alpine, Tx
