Thanks for the info on the clamshell kiln. I contacted Clay Art Center,
Tacoma, Washington (1-800-952-8030) and requested info. In a matter of a
few days my postman delivered the packet!!!! Great service!!!!

Does anyone out there own one? Would like some feed back on the pros and
cons before purchasing.

(Sorry, Bonnie. Must have copied your 'e' address wrong - couldn't get
through. Hope this info helps you, also.)

Happy firing!

I was impressed with the ease of operation of the clamshell kiln. I
attended an all day raku firing at the Clay Art Center in Tacoma sponsored
by the Washington Potters Assoc. The clamshell's were fired all day, in
the rain and their performance was outstanding. They are perfect for a one
person operation. Call Joe at Clay Art and tell him about your
requirements for size that you require before purchasing.
