First day of the of the Clay Az Art 18 International Woodfire Conference at
Flagstaff, Arizona. Lots and lots of people [Don Bendel, Don Reitz, Yukio
Yamamoto , Jim Leedy,Tom Colman, Bruce Howdle, John Ballistreri, Dan
Anderson, Toshiko Takaezu, Frank Boyden ,Paula Rice and Rudiy Autio ], lots
of exciment as the three woodfire kilns are being loaded. We have been
blessed with rain making it possible to fire the kilns. Firings from July
17th to the 21st. The kilns should be ready for unloading the morning of July
25th.
