Does anyone use a body from Piedmont Pottery in NC which is good for
handbuilding and tile work. Both cone 10 and raku? I've had problems with
cracking using the regular raku body from both Piedmont and Highwater. Any
recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have used Piedmont's lowfire white without sand - but no cone 10.
sorry. The raku from Kickwheel is Kick Butt. They also have a red
robin lowfire that is great for either handbuilding or throwing.
