Peter King gives architectural ceramics workshops from his studio in
Pensacola which are wonderful. Plus he's a nice person and may be able to put
you in touch with the clay community. He advertises his workshops in the back
of Ceramics Monthly. Also, you may want to call Florida Craftsmen,
813-821-7391. They are a non-profit representing craft artists all over the
state. They are divided into areas, so call them and find out who represents
your area and what events are planned. You could also try the ceramics
department at FSU in Tallahassee to see if they have workshops which are
opened to non-students.
