I am somewhat confused,, I sent out other messages to the list and am not
sure if they are making it or not.. I would appreciate any type of white
stoneware formulas that are stable for raku and also for general functional
pottery.... I have just got a mixer and pugmill and am anxious to see how
it works. Your help would be appreciated ... If you post to the list, do
your own postings show up ? I some of you are seeing this posting would you
please respond>

Dear Mark, no problem here....we have recieved both messages ,(identical)
from you. As for glazes, you do not mention what you are using for fuel or
whether redution or oxidation firings. However,I would suggest : Emmanuel
Cooper, The Potter's Book of Glaze Recipes....Conrad on Glazes...Richard
Zakin, Electric Kiln Firing. If you wish to delve more deeply, Norton's,
Elements of Ceramics.....and lots and lots of testing of various
mixtures.. don & isao.On Thu, 14 Nov 1996, Dr. Mark Herman wrote:
