cobalt spotted glaze

updated sat 31 may 97

My e-mail trash has been dumped, so I don't have a copy of the message, but
the other day someone asked about a glaze with cobalt that came out with
blue specs instead of solid blue...

Screen the glaze to remove the specking. If the glaze was screened, use a
finer mesh. Cobalt is a very strong colorant and prone to specking if not
well screened.

Happy potting.
