Evan,
Coiling is a wonderful way to make pots! Don't sell it short. I am hoping
to hear how others accomplish shape using this method.

It helps to flatten the coils slightly before adding them to the pot.

Burnishing also helps smooth out the pot, but I don't mind some
irregularities in the final vessel. They go well with the primitive fires.

What do other coilers do?
