Hi,
When I sell my copper matt raku pottery I do inform the customer that the
piece should not be put in direct sunlight and that it is not waterproof. I
also give suggestions as to how to use them for flowers, etc. I have had
several raku pieces in my house in bright light but not direct sunlight for
up to 8 years and they have not changed color.
Good luck,
Wendy from Bainbridge Island WA

I keep mine in dim light and they lose most of their luster in a matter
of months. Could it be the humidity and not the light as a factor?
Same glaze on others' pots on dryer part of the island stay bright and
beautiful, while mine quickly fade!
