A reliable, interesting, and somewhat heavily crawled glaze is needed for
some large scale sculpture to "mature" at cone 06. Would greatly appreciate
some favorites from you ever so helpful clayarters. Thanks, and with kind
appreciation.

Also, won't someone reveal what went on during the clayart breakfast at
NCECA? I was next door at another breakfast meeting and I kept hearing
wonderfully wild laughter through the walls. Although I asked anyone
wearing a CLAYART button what went on, apparently wearing the button was
not an indication of who attended the breakfast. Where did those button
come from anyway? and how do I get one?

To Judith Schwartz:

This is an^06-04 crawling slip recipe formulated by Jim Hagerty at CSU Long
Beach in the spring of 1991:

Frit 3269 (or P-25)........25%
Barium Carb.......................10%
Neph Sy.................................25%
Magnesium Carb................25%
EPK.........................................10%
Zinc...........................................5%
_______
100%
Application thickness counts. This slip can be used over or under other
glazes, though it will disappear when used with Chappell's EG 137 glaze
formula.
