On verifying our sources it seems that it would be preferable not to
use lead in the glazes for the reproduction Creamware - which of
course is what we thought in the first place, and which we are
actually pleased about healthwise.
We sincerely thank those of you who replied in length on glazes
including lead.
If anyone has any glazes that would fit the description of pale cream
coloured transparent glaze on a white earthenware body we would be
very happy to hear from you.
