Someone recently mentioned a software program for filing credit card numbers
electronically without the gadget you rent or buy
I am extremely interested and am sure there are others out there that would
like to take advantage of the lower rates without having to buy the equipment
PLeease give us info
TIA

I think that someone was me. And, the software that I use on my desktop pc
is called PTC (Personal Ticket Capture). I got this through my credit card
service. There was another one that was being sold more on a retail level
but I can't remember the name of it off-hand. One place to check would be
computer stores that sell "Point of sale" equipment and software.
It wasn't cheap but is was considerably less expensive than the electronic
equipment. I think I paid $200 US for it. If you can't find PTC, I can
probably retrace my steps and get the name of the other software that I
found available. I know that my service could use it if you had it and they
would know the name of it and any others that were in use.
You can post me direct if you wish.
