The following is the schedule of exhibitions in our ceramics gallery for the
Fall 1997 semester :
Jason Hess, Utah. Wood-fired stoneware and porcelain. August 24 -
September 21. (Jason will present a slide lecture on September 19 and a
demonstration on September 20)
David Gibson, Louisiana. Mid-fire and wood-fired stoneware. Michael
Miller, Louisiana. Wood-fired stoneware. September 22 - October 19.
Adelaide Paul, New Jersey. Soda-fired stoneware and porcelain. October 20
- November 16.
Janice Strawder, Pennsylvania. Majolica glazed terra cotta and slip
decorated terra cotta. November 17 - December 14.
The schedule for the Spring 1998 semester is still being worked on. I can
say that two of the four shows have been confirmed. They are as follows :
Mary Law, California. Soda fired stoneware and porcelain. Dick Lehman,
Indiana. Side-fired stoneware. March 9 - April 5. (Show during NCECA)
Sandi Pierantozzi, Pennsylvania. Terra cotta. Neal Patterson,
Pennsylvania. Wood-fired stoneware. April 6 - May 3.
If you're in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, come by the college and see the
exhibitions. Cedar Valley College of the Dallas County Community College
District is located in the southern part of the county in the town of
Lancaster, Texas. The gallery is located in E building (Fine Arts
/Occupations) and is open 8:00 am - 10:00 pm seven days a week. For more
