Information please!!!
I have been asked to fire some porcelain pieces that have been created with
couscous imbedded in them similar to pieces that have rice imbedded in
them. My question: Is there any reason why I should NOT do this? Could it
possibly damage the elements??? The kiln room has a door and a fan
ventilated to the outside, so I am not concerned about fumes in the house.
Thanks. I LOVE this list.

I have fired clay with sawdust wedged into it and found smoke, bits
of burnt marks on the clay in one of two places, teansy hints of
fuming; that was about it.
