Well I have been testing some of the Glazes in the ^6 range:
Celadon to Teal ^6 (ox/red)
This glaze can be altered to suit your tastes.
Gerstley Borate 21.0
Wollastonite 8.0
Nepheline Syenite 30.0
Silica 31.0
---------
100.00
add: .125% cobalt carbonate & chrome oxide
My results on two separate batches on standard clay 112 (brown with
manganese dots) was a transparent gloss with a touch of deep teal. The
color was great and intense with only the minute additions of cobalt and
chrome. No crazing. Only I forgot to seive the mixture before containing
it and I had a few white bits along the bottom of my test piece!
