Functional ware looks great on wood furniture. Hutches, bookshelves, and
tables can be gotten quite reasonably through auction houses that deal with
estates. The Salvation Army thrift stores are another good source. I've seen
glass shelving at both places too.

Joyce,
you might look at pottery barn/ williams sonoma. They have a 3 shelf wooden
unit that has the 2 sides on hinges and the shelves on hinges, so the whole
thing folds flat. when you pull the 2 sides forward, you pull the shelves
up & they latch into place. You could probably make this type of thing for
little $$; I bought mine at the outlet store.

I've looked in the archives and found info about
kiln shelves, as well as many posts covering
whole display units, such as the EZ-Up. What
I'm looking for, however, is a set of shelves... all in one piece.... =

assembled. If I'm going to do a couple of shows a year (and looks like =
I may unless I become very discouraged), I think a few shelves =
displaying pots ... in addition to the traditional tables.... might be =
inviting. I don't
need the canopy etc since I'll only do shows that
are inside ... no need to challenge the heat
and the desert wind.... too deeply into the youth
of my old age for that.
Any suggestions? They would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I just purchased display shelving from Stockwood's in Canada. It's a very
light weight, high quality extruded shelving system with Melamine, glass or
wood shelves. It all goes together with just an Allen wrench and is fully
adjustable, and interchangeable.
You can see samples at their web site

Good luck

hi
just came back from home depot and they had some nice black wire shelves
with self leveling feet - 4 shelves which all hand screw together and the
shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments - overall unit was about 4' high
and cost was about $40.00
good luck

I purchased shelves from home depot that are called peglock. They are nice
pine, totally transformable, come in a huge range of sizes and with a nice
coat of deft look really classy. Nice enough for in my house, which I have
them in right now. They break down totally flat and I love them. You can
hook them together and change heights for larger pieces. Very convenient.
