This kiln was built by myself using new and good used hard firebrick. It
is a natural gas downdraft kiln using 6 homemade burners and 6 electric
blowers. I fire it to cone 10 in about 10 to 12 hours. The walls are 9
inches (two bricks) thick. I have 12 like-new 11" x 20" x 5/8" siicon
corbide shelves tha go with the kiln.
The kiln is an arched kiln held together by an adjustible steel frame
which also supports a sheetmetal roof. The dimensions are approximately
63" wide, 54" deep, and 60" high. The chimney is also made of hard
firebrick and is 18" x 18" and about 8 ft. tall plus a 5 ft metal
extention.
If interested, write or call me.
