If I could wish for one glaze ...

^6 Porcelain? Thanx!

It depends on which ^6 porcelain unfortunately. I've been using
two very simple and successful ^6 glazes on a variety of different
porcelains. They are published glazes.
- Transparent Clear from the glaze appendix of Richard Zakin's book
on electric kiln ceramics. (Oddly enough, in my tests this one
crazes on the nice ^6 body porcelain formulated by Zakin. Just
going to prove that one potter's goose is another one's gander, or
something.)
- G210 Transparent Gloss from John Conrad's compendium of glazes.
Both books should be in any decent public library network and
possibly even in the GlazeBase, if it accepts previously published
formulae.

Katrina,
I'm not sure about how it will work on porcelain, but the the Simple
Clear glaze that I posted awhile back has worked on several different
clays that I have used. It is quick and simple to make. You might give
it a try:
Gerstley Borate------44.64
EPK------------------26.79
Flint----------------28.5
Hope this helps.
(This is a cone 6 glaze)
