e-texts on the web

First let me say that I have been a lurker on Clayart for a long time now
and, although I am strictly a hobby potter, I have found some of the
information that I have gleaned from the list to be invaluable and to have
saved me a great deal of time and effort in some cases.

What I would like to know is if anyone has found any e-texts on pottery
regarding form, glazes or even equipment that can be downloaded. Living in a
city nearly devoid of pottery classes and potters I have had to learn most of
what I know from books but I have found that I have now exhausted the
resources of the local library.

Thank you in advance,

Stephan

Steve..I don't know where tyou are but does your library have
inter-library
loan service? If not, my heart goes out to you..I get
wonderful ino and visual stuff from the tiniest library you
ever saw via the loan system..Elca Branman elcab@delphi.com

I have found a book entitled, The Magic of Fire, but I'm not sure but i
believe you can download it at:
http:www.memlane.com/business/imc/imc.html
If that doesn't work go to infoseek or some other machine and do a web
search for IMC (that is the company that sponsors the book) I haven't read
it all the way but it seems to have a lot of the chemistry that you really
don't get from trial and error. Good Luck
