I think I have convinced the chair of my department to purchase an extruder.
Recently we got a new kiln, and wheel, so it seems like I'm always asking!!
I'd like some input on which extruder to buy. I definitely want a hollow
die set. Any recommendations or warnings of what not to buy?
We are also going to build a soda kiln using the old kiln bricks and
burners. I'd like to build something simple. Looked at the kiln books, but
I thought maybe someone in clayart might have some advise. Besides the
design for the kiln, how do you prefer to introduce the soda. I' ve heard
of several ways, what do you do?
