Somebody sent me a private post saying that they were appalled at my
mentioning or using abortion in the way that I did...I was translating my
favorite bumper sticker which say"If you don't believe in abortion, don't
have one." In view of peoples strong feelings about the subject, and not
to imply that it was a decision or choice lightly made, what I SHOULD
have said was"If you don't believe in technology, don't use it..Anyhow,

Dear Elca,
It is always comforting to know there are others in the world who suffer from
foot-in-mouth disease. I applaud your integrity and honesty expressed in your
reply.
