I just found a cone 06-40 glaze recipe that call for 60% ferro frit G-24.
I have looked though all of the tables that I have about frits and
substituting pemco's for ferro's and have not been able to locate ferro
G-24. What other frit would be an acceptable substitute for this in either
a pemco or ferro?

No substitute info. We've got 20 bags but they are classified

boron frit instead.

Lars - I have no info on this frit either. If all else fails, phone the
company - maybe someone here can provide phone # or try askingCeramics Monthly or your local ceramic supplier.
I did this once only to find the frit really was no longer made but
they would be happy to oblige us & make it for a minimum order
of a bazillion pounds!
Good luck Karen Gringhuis

I came across something in a recipe today that called for a frit--G23 and in
parenthisis it said Amaco. Check with them and see if they make what you're
looking for.
