It all started with this kiln I inherited from a friend. A slight
problem with the crumbling brick caused me to consider rebuilding the
unit. The bottom third is great. Things take a turn for the nasty as
we get into the middle ring. This area has several damaged bricks and
that leads us right into the top ring that also needs replacement
bricks. I know this project will be beastly, but I think if I could
locate the brick, I might summon all my energy, some poor sap to assist
and dig into this project once and for all. So, to make this sad tale
complete, I'm looking for firebrick for a Paragon kiln model no. A99B.
I'll need 24 - 4" straight grooved 21/2 " wall brick. After the brick
I'll need to replace the elements.
