I am reminded today of those old FLIT handsprayers that you used to be
able to buy in just about any *real* hardware store. They had a little
can that you filled with your choice of ______icide and then you'd
pump-spray, pump-spray away...frequently maskless and goggleless in your
garden. I'm wondering if anyone ever tried to use one of them to spray glazes
or more likely oxides? They created more of a mist-cloud than a spray.

The Olympic Stain 1 gallon spray applicators (handpump to pressurize/all
plastic parts) are on sale at HomeQuarters this week. Less than $20 and no
moving part to clog. I wonder if it would work?

Procrastinating on grading papers while adjusting to daylight savings...

Hi Mark,

Yes I have tried the FLIT sprayer, (they are still available in OZ)>
I didn't find it to be very good. The glaze or slip would block the hole
and it would come out all sploggy & messy.
Maybe I was doing something wrong. I haven't tried it lately.
