Does anyone who is firing ^4 to ^6 in oxidation have a flowing matte glaze
base recipe they would be willing to share? I'm looking for one like a
photo of Taxile Doat's recipe - matte with a fine crystalline structure &
some tiny areas of gloss. Taxile Doat's flowing matte was a ^9 I think.
From the little I know of these recipes, they are low in alumina. I'm also
wondering how best to fire glazes like this so they don't end up on my kiln
shelves in addition to my pots!
