foaming shinos

New to the list, but been around for awhile. In regards to foamy shinos,
from my beer brewing days, I went to a brewery supply house and bought a
bottle of anti-foaming agent used to reduce the formation of too much head
on beer. Not entirely effective, but a small bottle helps a 5 gal. pail of
shino to quiet down more quickly. Perhaps this will send others to
commercial laundries orcome up with other ideas about such a concoction or
tricks.

Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, when spritzed on freshly poured
plaster mixes, instantly pops all air bubbles, on the plaster surface.

I haven't tried this for flattening out foamy shinos, but it might be
worth a try. The alcohol is inexpensive and you probably already have
the spray bottle.
