That message header sounds like something you might have read as a headline
in the LA Free Press or the Berkley Barb in the 60's. However, what it iis
is an offer to some courageous potter who longs for the beauty of barium
glazes and plans of being careful.

Years ago I was using a lot of Barium and when a potter friend moved he
gave me a 50# or so bag of Barium Carbonate. I was spraying these glazes
and when I became aware of the health hazards involved I stopped using it.
50# is a lot of flux. I suppose I could make some beautiful bricks.

I live in Columbus, IN and if there is anyone within a reasonable distance
of here, (I visit Chicago, Louisville, Indy and sometimes Cincinnati pretty
regularly) could we make arrangements?
