I'm writing on behalf of my former ceramic chemistry teacher Ann Mortimer
of Newmarket Ontario (about half an hour north of Toronto). She is giving
away a substantial quantity of two hand dug clays (crushed) suitable for
high-fire glazes. She has fired tests using these clays and can make
recommendations to whoever wants to use these materials.

Ann is not working in such materials now and just needs the space. She was
interested to hear of the granite discussion on Clayart and hoped that
someone interested in using local materials would be interested in her
clay.

For information please contact Ann at her home and studio: 905-

Thanks,
